A message dated May 3, 2002, was received stating the Governor is                                   
transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies of the following                                     
resolution to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:                                
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 26(STA)                                                  
    Supporting increased use of the house arrest program/electronic                                 
    monitoring with sobriety monitoring as a means of preventing                                    
      crime and reducing the high costs of imprisonment in Alaska.                                 
                                                                                                    
    Legislative Resolve No. 55
